Live translation — new (Beta)

Reach everyone in your community, whatever language they speak. moschee.io can now translate your livestream — the khutbah, a lecture or any talk — into other languages as it happens.

• Listen or read — followers can hear a translated voice or follow along with live text
• Qur'an verses recognised automatically — when a verse is recited, the original and its translation appear beautifully, so no one misses a word
• Several languages at once — each listener simply picks their own language

A lot has happened since the official 1.0 launch. Here are the highlights.

Mosque Screen — new

Display prayer times and announcements on a screen inside the mosque, designed to run all day on a TV or tablet.

• Two layout styles — a familiar Mawaqit-style view and a new Split layout that puts the next prayer front and centre
• Announcement ticker at the bottom of the screen for community messages
• Prayer progress bar showing how much time is left until the next prayer
• Iqama alert that automatically shows when iqama is due
• Prayer blackout overlay that dims the screen during prayer so it's not a distraction

Live streaming

• New room setup flow with device preferences, exclusive device assignment and clean teardown when a room is deleted
• Kick and record actions now sit directly on participant tiles — faster moderation, fewer clicks
• Unified status indicators for Ingress and NDI sources, plus more reliable device connections
• Refreshed streaming notifications and a better video preview (16:9, auto-hides on desktop)

Mobile admin panel — new

Mosque admins can now manage their entire mosque straight from the phone, no laptop needed.

After months of intensive development and close collaboration with mosque communities, we are pleased to officially release moschee.io Version 1.0.

The entire platform — from the Dashboard to the Pagebuilder to the mobile app — is now production-ready and available for daily use.

What's new

• Pricing page in all languages — The pricing overview is now available in German, English, French, Turkish, and Arabic
• QR code for app download — Communities can embed a QR code on their website so visitors can download the mobile app directly
• Modernized component library — The entire user interface has been updated to the latest version of our UI components

Connect your own domain

Communities can now connect their own domain (e.g. www.my-mosque.com) to their moschee.io website. Setup is done directly via the Dashboard — simply enter the desired domain, adjust the DNS settings, and the website will be accessible at your own address.

New pricing structure

The subscription structure has been completely overhauled. Instead of individual modules, there are now clear plans that bundle all the features you need. This makes the choice simpler and more transparent.
